Dragonfly
Dining on a higher level - the Dragonfly is located upstairs in a building on commercial row. The comfortable restaurant serves an eclectic menu with Pan Asian influence. Selections change frequently, but may include Asian Style Cioppino, Spring Rolls, Thai Style Flank Steak Lettuce Wraps. Open for lunch and dinner (closed late afternoons). International wine list. The Lodge Restaurant
The Lodge at Tahoe Donner Association's golf course is a comfortable place to relax while enjoying a cocktail or meal. The pub invites you to unwind with a glass of wine or beer and a selection from the bar menu. The restaurant is built to enhance the season, with the Aspen Room, featuring a roaring fireplace and floor to ceiling windows, overlooking snow fields in the winter and the golf course in the summer. The menu specializes in American Cuisine, including Hawaiian Ahi Poke, Roasted Sonoma Duck, and Free Range Chicken. Our pick: Sliders!

Moody's Bistro
Located in the historic Truckee Hotel, Moody's is a cool place, alive with nightly jazz and a happening atmosphere. The bar is designed in the fashion of a Speakeasy from the early days, with big comfortable booths to enjoy lunch in. Mark Estee, Executive Chef, has done a fantastic job creating a menu with an interesting selection of game meats and fresh, seasonal entrees that change frequently. Nightly live music performances by jazz trios and local artists keep the place so hip you might think it belongs in San Francisco. Superstar Paul McCartney has even visited a few times and jumped in for a song on the piano. Our lunch pick: Fish & Chips with a white wine.
